Reverend Annalie Korengel

Unionville Presbyterian Church is a great place to work and to worship! All are welcomed to UPC, regardless of where they are on the journey. I am committed to the principles that faith makes us more human, not less; that good questions are much more important than weak answers; that faith, compassion, and justice are woven together; and that God desires to throw open the doors of the Kingdom, not to lock people out! I invite questions and discussions because what you know makes me better! My core belief is that all are created in the image of God and are created to be in communion with God and in community with one another.

Interfaith and ecumenical work and partnerships are integral to my work at the church. In partnerships with others, this church has supported and ministered to the community. I am lucky to have colleagues with varied backgrounds.

Community, Faith & Love

Whether you’re new to church or have been part of one for many years, we’re glad you found us! No matter who you are, you are welcome here. We’re committed to being a church that both longtime believers and brand new faith explorers love to attend.

At Unionville Presbyterian Church – we are all about community – moving from strangers to friends, from friends to family. We believe that God is always leading us into deeper discipleship and community, nurturing us and teaching us through the reading and study of scripture, worship, and prayer. At UPC, we want to help one another know God better, be known in authentic relationships, and to make Jesus known to those around us.

We invite you to join this exciting journey!

Words from our church family

Unionville Presbyterian Church is a place of worship, learning, and friendship. When I walked in 14 years ago, I knew it was the place for me. Pastor Annalie teaches a very practical and theology-based application of faith that I’ve never known before. Love being there each Sunday!

I spent a number of years attending various churches, but it was more that I was attending church because it was Sunday. Then I went to UPC and almost immediately knew I’d found the church for me. I felt God’s LOVE through the love the congregation had for each other, and for the community they supported. It is an overwhelming feeling that remains very special to me.

Unionville Presbyterian Church takes the term, “small church – big heart”, literally. As a member of the UPC family, I am extremely blessed to be in the midst of such a  faithfully loving, compassionate, giving, and serving group of heartwarming people. Our amazing Pastor consistently gives 100% of herself to help meet the needs of others.  From the moment you enter the door, you feel like family, and wrapped in love.

I love my church because you are always greeted with a warm smile and never forgotten. It is a place of acceptance because people notice you and care for you without reason or hesitation.   My church family is always available. We celebrate together as a family. The singing to the Lord is wonderful. We are the hands of Christ! UPC is inclusive, loving, supportive, and there’s always a willing heart & helpful hand when one needs support or love or prayer.
