Generosity is at the heart of who we are and what we do. It enables us to bring both practical and spiritual help to people in Southern Chester County and beyond. It’s what makes Unionville Presbyterian Church home to so many!
As a nonprofit organization we rely heavily on – and deeply appreciate – financial support and donated goods. This allows the ministries of UPC to make a life changing difference for those who need our help.
We are grateful for monetary gifts in any amount. Donations can be made online through the UPC website, in-person at our church, or by mail.

A legacy donation to UPC is one of the most valuable and impactful donations that you can make. A legacy, or planned, gift is a contribution that is formally committed to your church. Generally, legacy gifts do not become available to your church until some future date.
Legacy gifts allow Unionville Presbyterian Church to increase its assets and help to ensure the future viability of our church by building an endowment. Plus, it encourages other individuals to consider making similar gifts.
You can leave a financial legacy for Unionville Presbyterian Church through a variety of planned gifts.
The easiest way to make a planned gift is through a bequest in your Will. Designate a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or a specific asset.
Make UPC the beneficiary of an existing policy no longer needed for your family or purchase a new policy which names UPC as the owner and beneficiary.
Reduce capital gains and estate taxes by deeding your home to UPC and retain the right to live there for you or your family.
Charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, or pooled income funds provide you/your beneficiaries with income for life, while reducing certain taxes.
We recommend that you discuss planned giving options with your financial advisor or attorney to determine which would be most appropriate for your situation.
If you would like more information or speak with someone about establishing a planned gift to the Unionville Presbyterian Church endowment, contact Reverend Annalie Korengel at 610-347-2327.
UPC welcomes donations of food and clothing and we will provide them to those in need throughout the year. We offer a convenient drop off box located under the covered entrance on the west side of the building. In the fall, our volunteers organize a special coat drive where we give new or gently pre-owned coats to children and adults in our community.
We accept donations of:
Food donations and clothing can be dropped off at the church without an appointment. Please contact the church first before making any other type of donation, such as furniture, housewares or any large item. We accept most items that are in good condition, except for mattresses.
Unionville Presbyterian Church is always looking for volunteers to help us with our mission. In addition to the good it does for others, volunteering can help give your life greater purpose and meaning, and potentially build lifelong friendships!
If you have a special skill or simply can donate some of your time, we would appreciate your reaching out to us.
We always welcome people willing to join our baking team but there are other opportunities to serve as well. Please contact our office for more information and to discuss our current openings for volunteers, including the ones listed below:
We encourage all of those who are interested in furthering UPC’s very important mission and helping those in need to give—not out of obligation, but out of a spirit of generosity. Your gifts allow God’s work to be done in our midst, in our community, and in the world around us.
We look forward to hearing from you!
